Stimulate your senses and creativity with herbs for the holiday season.
For thousands of years culinary herbs have been used to both flavor food and as medicinal teas. In this fun, improv style class we'll make various herbal mixes and tea blends using herbs grown on our farm. Participants will learn about the various proven health benefits of these herbs and experiment with various ways to to use the herbs - soups, seasoning blends, herb butters, medicinal teas etc. Create you own personal blends for yourself or as holiday gifts.
The workshop will be facilitated by Yemi Amu, founder of Oko Farms and Culinary/Nutrition Educator.
